How it works
How it works.
Your network on one side. The control port of the preamplifier on the other.
A bridge
Link sends your taps to the preamplifier in its own control language and shows only what the preamplifier confirms back.
Relative volume only
One step up or down at a time, each confirmed before the next. No gesture can jump the volume.
A volume limit
Set a ceiling. Link enforces it for every phone, and lowers the volume if the limit is moved below it.
A rate limit
At most one step every 150 ms. Lose the connection and stepping stops.
Going above the limit
A separate control, and it locks again after 30 seconds.
Private
No account, no cloud, no tracking. Link only fetches its own signed updates.
